spokane wedding photography ~ chateau rive ~ nicole and yusuke

i headed over to spokane again for nicole and yusuke’s wedding day just a couple weeks after jill and conor’s wedding – unfortunately we had rain again (i swear i didn’t bring it!) but we still had a ton of fun!

the day started at the davenport hotel – it was an awesome hotel room with a tub big enough for all of the girls and great light for some portraits with nicole!

the awning provided excellent shelter from the rain…

we then all headed to the wedding venue – chateau rive is located in an old flour mill – very cool rock walls and great wood everywhere…

everyone has personal chopsticks as their place cards and they had family wedding photos on display – loved it.

the rain may have changed plans for the ceremony location but it was beautiful still…

so those kids above cracked me up and frightened me simultaneously…

the smashing of the cake was NOT planned – i love nicole’s reaction…she took it in good stride though and gave yusuke a good payback…
