Married at The Georgetown Ballroom – Sarah and Alex!

Alex and Sarah’s wedding day at the Georgetown Ballroom was lovely! This venue is such a gem – the perfect mix of vintage charm and cool industrial vibes. It’s one of my absolute favorite spots, and the surrounding neighborhood gives even more photo spot opportunities.

Sarah was surrounded by her best gals – her mom zipped her up and help put on the veil that she actually sewed for Sarah. Alex shared a toast up in the groom area with his group before heading out to the courtyard to see his bride. After their sweet exchange, we went for a little stroll in Georgetown for some portraits and then met up with their wedding party at the iconic wood doors in front of the venue. We then took the family formals on the patio to avoid the arriving guests.

The ceremony itself was so sweet and Sarah’s mom served as their officiant! The ballroom’s exposed brick and hanging lit lanterns give such a cozy, romantic vibe. The piano interludes and Alex and Sarah sharing their heartfelt vows had everyone tearing up (especially mom!) It was one of those moments that felt so authentic and full of love.

The Georgetown Ballroom’s layout is great – big enough for dinner, dancing, and still plenty of space for all of the mingling. Amy Funbuttons performed an aerial dance in the middle of dinner and poured the champs for the couple and a few choice guests (grandpa was digging it!) Her performance brought big fun to the dinner time and definitely got the crowd ready for the dance floor. Flowers and garter were thrown and the first dances were sweet.

Throughout the whole day, the Georgetown Ballroom staff was amazing. They were so attentive and on top of things, which meant Alex and Sarah could just relax and enjoy every minute.

The dance floor was lit and the room was buzzing with happy vibes. Hugs, laughter, and a whole lot of booty shaking ensued. Alex and Sarah’s wedding wasn’t just beautiful—it was real, joyful, and completely unforgettable.
