Fremont Foundry Wedding | Kendehl and Smitt
Here’s how I got the chance to photograph Kendehl and Smitt’s Fremont Foundry wedding. Just a few weeks into their romance, I met Kendehl and Smitt on the dance floor of Dennis and Beverly’s wedding. They were smoking hot together and I believe I said something to Kendehl like “If, and when, you two hook it up, call me please!” How flippin’ excited was I to get this call two years later? Crazy excited.
Kendehl has to be one of the kindest, collected, and lovely people I’ve ever met – and her saucy sense of humor is the best!
Smitt is so cool – he commands the room with his energy – he’s classy with a great wit. And those dimples had me at hello.
his first look…
Their floral from Daisy and Wish was yummy
We met up with their crew in the courtyard – such a fun group – lots of laughs and just the right amount of sass.
a little pre-ceremony cocktail time…
a kiss for luck…
Jen Wade got some great views from the catwalk above.
why yes, their champagne bottle is lit up!
Their reading was from ‘I Like You’ by Sandol Stoddard, which just happens to also be the reading in my own wedding ceremony (it’s a wonderful book).
They’re married! *mic drop*
During their 2nd cocktail hour, a barbershop quartet serenaded the group and specifically our bride…
Stephanie with Wall Wedding and Foodz catering did an amazing job all day long. Tim with Ideal Entertainment got the crowd going immediately!
Did Smitt serenade Kendehl while his backup singers brought the moves? He sure did.
I’m in love with Ideal Entertainment’s lighting – a MUST!
