2021 weddings recap – love and weirdness
2021 was a year of weirdness. Weddings were rescheduled, some 2-3 times. Moving forward with larger gatherings felt odd but equally hopeful. We took tests, got vaxxed, wore masks, danced in pods and moved as much of the party outdoors as possible. I love that so many events came together with patience, ingenuity and a ton of love.
I’m so grateful to have documented these wonderful couples on their amazing days. Love is weird, but love still wins – even when it has been rescheduled. Here are some favorite moments from this year in weddings…enjoy!
If you’ve hung out this long, thank you! I am so grateful for the couples that trust me to document their day; to anticipate the moments and to support them on this wedding day they’ve planned for so long. My best day of 2021 was in the Spring, when my kid actually let me take some photos of her. Lastly, thank you Jen Wade for being my best everything and for always having my back. I never knew the feeling of ‘ride or die’ ’till I met her. Life is good. Cheers to 2022!
