2020 weddings recap – love pivots
2020 has certainly been a year like none other in our lifetime and weddings in Seattle had to be rescheduled and retooled. I’ve been trying to put it all down in words, but my words pale in comparison to the impact of this year. I fear coming off as trite in a time that I take very seriously. I will say that through it all, it’s been amazing to see such tremendous displays of love, patience and kindness during such uncertainty. I’m so grateful to have documented love another year. Love does win – even when it has to pivot. Here are some favorite moments of this year’s weddings…
newcastle golf club was the perfect place for jenny and ethan’s zoom ceremony
kristen on the balcony of her room at the outlook inn on orcas island…
margot and adam shared their vows to a small group at the helm of the hiyu boat on lake union…
the georgetown ballroom dropped balloons on amber and david!
a walk on the gorgeous beach in front of the surfsand resort in oregon
If you’ve hung in here ’till the end, thank you so much. 2020 marks the year that I won ‘best photographer’ in Seattle Bride Magazine’s “best of 2020”. I am so grateful to those that voted for me and so honored to be a part of the seattle wedding community. Thank you so much to all of the amazing people that have chosen me to document their love story. My own love story is in the photo below – these two chicks make life sweet and worth living. Cheers!

Jenny, this is such poignant, beautiful and important trip down remembrance lane. Thank you for capturing so much of what is true about 2020. It was my heartfelt privilege to be with you and some of our amazing couples this year. Much love to you. No Annemarie
