These Husky fans met me at the UW - we played around the blossom trees and Suzzallo and then hopped down to the bronze husky dog for some shots in their jerseys. We then trekked to Golden Gardens - the sun had vanished by then, but the beach is always a pretty place for photos. Can't wait for their big day - we are going to have super big fun!

"It might seem like strange advice but I would highly recommend choosing flowers for your wedding that are very seasonal to your date. We married in early spring so we used Ranunculus, Freesia, Dianthus, Hydrangea, Spider Mums... Now that our anniversary is coming, it has been so amazing these past few weeks to walk by the flower shops and see the flowers from my wedding day. They're only around this time of year so it's really special. One fragrant note from the White Narcissus and I'm taken back to all the amazing memories of that day."

Sorrento Hotel. It was at this wedding where I met the fabulous Annemarie Juhlian too! I asked Amy for any wedding day advice she might have. She said "for the wedding day my advice is to be very thoughtful to take moments to really look around and take in what is happening. Especially to the bride when walking down the aisle - look at the guests and their smiling faces." Sounds like great advice to me!

The first photo is of Kali seeing herself in the mirror for the first time in her gown - this was the moment when she said she finally felt like it was her wedding day (I love her expression). The day moved quickly and was filled with lots of tears, laughter and some awesome 'Michael Jackson moves' on the dance floor. It was great being a part of their day - here are my faves...

How excited was I to pick up this month's issue of Seattle Magazine and see my boudoir sessions mentioned in their article "13 ways to lift your love life"?! Very excited!!! I love that I get to say "as seen in..." now (insert my blush and the flutter of the eyelashes here).

I also love some of the other awesome folks mentioned in the article...

Babeland - love love love! They even have cooking classes with aphrodisiacs and stuff...
Hotel 1000 - totally intrigued by the 'Chocolate Cake for Two' massage package
Century Ballroom - could totally use some dance lessons after all of the sweets I've been indulging in
Sorrento Hotel - I love the old romance feel of this place and been fortunate enough to photograph events there

My first thought was 'duh - who wouldn't?!' and proceeded to write them a quick note in hopes that they would consider me. The next day, I get an email from Stacey saying that other people had emailed them telling them to contact me (how cool is that?!) So after some phone conversations and a wonderful evening of cupcakes and coffee, I was totally stoked to hear that this sweet couple want me to capture their upcoming nuptials.

I am so lucky to have met these women. The way Stacey and Heather look at each other...how playful that they are with each other...it really is beautiful. I'm a lucky girl to meet them and a luckier girl to participate in their wedding.

"Wow! I cannot believe it has been a year, and look, I still have all of these wonderful pictures to look back on. The wedding was beautiful and it was one of the best days of my life. If I have to recommend anything, I would say to hire a coordinator for the day if you can. She made sure everything ran smoothly and it was stress free for me! I have to give a shout out to Jenny, without her, I wouldn't have these wonderful memories captured forever. I cannot say enough about her, she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed, she brought out the best in us and thought of things I wouldn't have otherwise thought of. After the wedding, my whole family couldn't stop talking about how wonderful and funny she was, how nice she was, and how truly beautiful the pictures had turned out. I have many people to thank for the coming together of the wedding, but Jenny is the only one who captured it all so I can look back on it forever - Thank you Jenny!!!" - Amber
