The happy dance comes in this part - I woke this morning to an email from the WPJA - they have accepted me for membership in both WPJA and [AG]WPJA - sqweee!
Here's some info on both organizations...
'Leading the way in Wedding Photojournalism, WPJA represents the most discriminating talent around the world technically, creatively and visually. Qualified members hold industry-leading standards, skills and business integrity...
Membership in the WPJA depends entirely on photographers meeting our high standards for inclusion. One CANNOT simply pay his/her way into the WPJA.
The Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association is a distinct division within the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA). The [AG]WPJA focuses strictly on the artistic and "fine art" aspects of wedding photojournalism.'
There is a lot of great info (and images) on each website - go check them out. I am so honored to have been accepted in to a group that includes such amazing photographers like Our Labor of Love (my heroes)!
I'm going to go finish doing my 'jig' now - the monkey has no clue why we're dancing, but she's totally into it!

My Christmas present to myself last year was a custom blog from ITDR - I had to wait until March to get started (they are a popular bunch), but it was totally worth the wait!
I can't wait to hear what y'all think about it, so scope it out and leave me a comment K?

I am currently working on a new website (also from ITDR), but I need a little more time on that one...so don't peek! (yeah, right.)
