bellevue birth photography ~ overlake hospital ~ baby ece

baby ece came unexpectedly last saturday at overlake hospital - i got there just as mom and baby came out of their c-section. she is just beautiful and mom was tired, but so so so happy. the opportunity to witness the beginning of a baby's life is really so amazing!

family photography ~ point defiance & fort lewis ~ the powell family

| i see families | i see kiddos

meet sean, nataleigh and the sweet baby liberty - hands down, the happiest baby i have met in a long time. as if i needed any more reason to want more kiddos! we hooked up down at fort lewis where sean is stationed to embrace their strong patriotism with a few photos in front of "mike" and our beautiful mountain that was out on sunday.

we then all headed up to point defiance park for fun in the sun...

sometimes the best photos come during 'taking a break' moments...the one above is a big fave...

i think the one above is my total fave...

Adorable! What a precious family! So many beautiful shots but I think my fave family one is the one of them next to the one where he is kissing the little girl's hand. I also love the candid of her resting in his arms. Great job as usual! now just to get my sis to get things moving...

seattle family photography ~ olympic sculpture park ~ the reeves

| i see kiddos

yesterday, i got to have some cold and windy but super big fun with the reeves family downtown. natalie is set to have another baby here in a couple weeks and they wanted to turn their 'belly session' into some family fun with their rock star 4.5 year old isaiah. you might think you're seeing double with nick and you are kind of...nick is calvin's twin brother - i got to meet them at the awesome wedding of sara and calvin's last year.

that was the 'everyone has to do what isaiah does' game...

isaiah's face above shows you just how sweet of a kid he really is, but that kid is also greased lightening - i gave myself an internal high five for catching a bit of that sweetness!

i know you can't touch the art, but no one says you can't try to blow it down...

i'm totally looking forward to meeting the baby in a few weeks and seeing how great of a big brother isaiah is gonna be!
