i see you, now you see me! Hi there - I'm Jenny.  Just a couple things about me...

  • I have an unhealthy, but happy relationship with caffeine and ice cream.
  • I am a total insomniac and I get a ton of work done at 3 a.m.
  • I have the coolest 3 1/2 year-old on the planet.
  • One of my dogs sucks her thumb.
  • Your photos are not about me or my 'art'.  I believe my job is to show your awesomeness.
  • There isn't one aspect of my job that I don't like.  I even feel weird calling it a 'job' sometimes.

I think it's important that you not only like your photographer's work, but that you actually like your photographer.

As I sit here writing yet another 4 a.m. blog posting, I can't help but smile remembering just how funny, loving, veggie-biting and I dare to say it, 'normal' Brooke & DyLon are.  I totally enjoyed every aspect of their wedding day - they had veggies instead of flowers (check out the boutonnieres, wrist corsages and Brooke's bouquet!), they had "Seuss-like" vows and totally high-fived each other before planting their 'big kiss'.  It was a super fun party and a gorgeous venue.  I loved the food from Cabbage Patch catering so much that I stole an extra bite or two off of Jen's plate!   DyLon cried when he saw Brooke coming across the bridge (it always gets me when men cry) and Brooke put together such a fun 'father/daughter' dance - they totally busted out into everything from kung fu moves to disco flare.

My assistant Jen got the fauxtobooth up and rockin' - get your photo from it here - totally fun!

The people in DyLon & Brooke's lives are awesome - great family, great friends...you might even recognize Heather & Reid (Brooke's bro) from my 1st post on this new blog.  I totally dig you B & D - I really hope our paths cross again - thanks SO much for having me be a part of your day.  On with the photos!!!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, your ability to capture pure organic moments is totally amazing. I never once felt the need to "pose" - I knew your pictures would capture and express exactly the emotion felt.
I truly truly hope that our paths will cross again. Thank you so much Jenny GG for being a part of the best day of my life.

What a beautiful day at the beach we had two Saturdays ago!  My assistant Jennifer and I met Ana & Adrian at The Bathhouse at Golden Gardens Beach.  Ana was dressed and ready to see her groom - this was the first time that I welled up during a 'first look' - I'll just say it was the ocean breeze!  They are just so tender and soft with each other - it was really breathtaking.  After some fun portraits with their friends and family, we all headed over to the Gift of Grace church for their ceremony.  I got to try out my camera's low light capabilities and I'm so glad I caught one of Adrian's glances toward Ana - so cute!  After their 'bubble exit' from the church, everyone headed back down to the bathhouse for their big party.  They had really great bbq catered by Warthog, a cake on every table and probably just the most perfect sunset ever.  The day was amazing and I'm so grateful to have been a part of it - thanks so much Ana & Adrian!

As expected, these photos are amazing-Jenny! It is so fun to see ones I never noticed you taking. I'm especially glad we did the swings because it was really funny when all the families at the beach cheered for us AND the pictures turned out really cute. I'm glad we found a photographer that takes such great pictures and is so much fun to be around.
