i see you, now you see me! Hi there - I'm Jenny.  Just a couple things about me...

  • I have an unhealthy, but happy relationship with caffeine and ice cream.
  • I am a total insomniac and I get a ton of work done at 3 a.m.
  • I have the coolest 3 1/2 year-old on the planet.
  • One of my dogs sucks her thumb.
  • Your photos are not about me or my 'art'.  I believe my job is to show your awesomeness.
  • There isn't one aspect of my job that I don't like.  I even feel weird calling it a 'job' sometimes.

I think it's important that you not only like your photographer's work, but that you actually like your photographer.

I am SO excited to have some photos from previous boudoir sessions shown at Babeland!  My display is being kicked off in conjunction with the Blitz Capitol Hill Arts Walk this Thursday from 5-8 p.m.  I'll be at Babeland, ready to chat it up and talk about boudoir photography!

I have been so blessed to photograph these amazing women and so thrilled to display just a few of them in one of Seattle's coolest 'sex-positive' environments.

Extra special thanks and squeezes to Audrey - she's the awesome chick that asked me to participate in this show and just happens to be one of my most favorite brides from last summer!

Hope to see you there!

Can I just tell you how incredibly hard it has been to choose a winner for the Giving is Awesome event??  It's been so hard that I am a day late in announcing a winner.  Each person that nominated a family member, friend or coworker took the time to write me wonderful notes sharing how amazing each person is.  I've been trying all day to figure out how I might just award every nominee, but alas, I must pick only one.

Drum roll please.....the winner is Angie Mitchell!  Her sister-in-law, the marvelous Mollie Mitchell nominated her.  After overcoming many obstacles in her life, Mollie states that Angie "...is an incredible human being who has brought so much joy and inspiration to our family".  I look so forward to meeting such a wonderful lady, her husband and three kiddos (with one on the way!)

Thank you so much to all the people who nominated folks - every story grabbed my heart.

Since I haven't met Angie yet, I thought I'd include a photo of the super cool Mollie whom I met at Katie & Rob's super fun wedding last June!

I'll be totally honest here ~ I have not been feeling the holiday spirit very much this season...I'm not going to analyze it too much, but it just hasn't even really felt like Christmas this year to me.  I did feel a little twinge yesterday however, when the monkey and I headed over to Nina & Tom's sweet digs for some gingerbread house decorating.  Nina & I have become friends as a result of shooting their awesome wedding on the trolley this past summer and in her spare time Nina is apparently a ginger architect.  Their kiddo Pascal and Nina's mom, Denise were there to show Lily the ropes and way too much sugar was ingested.  I would say an awesome time was had all around!  Happy Holidays to everyone this year - Ho Ho Ho!
