  • I have an unhealthy, but happy relationship with caffeine and ice cream.
  • I am a total insomniac and I get a ton of work done at 3 a.m.
  • I have the coolest 3 1/2 year-old on the planet.
  • One of my dogs sucks her thumb.
  • Your photos are not about me or my 'art'.  I believe my job is to show your awesomeness.
  • There isn't one aspect of my job that I don't like.  I even feel weird calling it a 'job' sometimes.

I think it's important that you not only like your photographer's work, but that you actually like your photographer.

Sarah & Josh are such amazing people.  The love they have for each other is palpable (check out some of the photos from their wedding last year).  I have been so blessed to be there for their wedding, the birth of their daughter and now getting to spend some time watching her grow.  She is three months old now and just the most curious, little ball of awesome.  My love for the Funstons just continues to grow...

babies grow up so fast and i'm so glad i have these amazing photos to remind myself of the best months with baby funston. i'm so giddy over these photos and i keep looking at them throughout the day--they make me very happy :)

sneak peek - Newborn Photography ~ Harper

Anyone remember this belly session a few months ago???  Well that sweet bump is now a three month old ball of sweetness named Harper Rae!  She is basically made of awesome, dipped in honey and then rolled in rainbow sprinkles.  I just had to pull out this shot from our time today - there will be a ton more to come...

Newborn Photography ~ West Seattle ~ Elise

Elise is just pure cuteness and after meeting her mom and dad, I totally see where she gets it from.  Their home in West Seattle is lovely and filled with natural light - LOVE!  We hung out in Elise's room and their sweet pup Cooper came sprinting up for a quick visit - check out the balancing act!  I loved getting to spend an afternoon with this wonderful family & can't wait to do it again!
