i see you, now you see me! Hi there - I'm Jenny.  Just a couple things about me...

  • I have an unhealthy, but happy relationship with caffeine and ice cream.
  • I am a total insomniac and I get a ton of work done at 3 a.m.
  • I have the coolest 3 1/2 year-old on the planet.
  • One of my dogs sucks her thumb.
  • Your photos are not about me or my 'art'.  I believe my job is to show your awesomeness.
  • There isn't one aspect of my job that I don't like.  I even feel weird calling it a 'job' sometimes.

I think it's important that you not only like your photographer's work, but that you actually like your photographer.

I love Lisa's laugh and I love how easily David makes her laugh - they are an amazingly sweet couple.  We spent the afternoon playing all around Ballard - people watching at Cupcake Royale (I loved the looks on their faces), walking down Ballard Avenue, sitting on the sand at Golden Gardens beach and watching the sunset on a boat dock.  What a lovely afternoon - here are just a few of my faves...

Laura and Louie are a total crack up.  They make each other (and me) laugh a lot - so much joking around, goofing and giggling...I had a ton of fun with them and can't wait 'till their big day in August.  I had a hard time picking my faves - here are just a few...

i see engagements ~ Erica & Audrey ~ Seattle Wedding Photographer

So the day after I returned home from So Cal, I got to hang out with the super cool Erica & Audrey - we had a gorgeous day (a little hot even!)  The market was closed, but we found some cool nooks in Post Alley - down by the Can Can, a special place for them among others.  We then headed over to Alki and found a quiet area down at the end (the main areas were packed!)  I really love this couple's humor with each other & how genuinely loving they are.  I am SO excited for their wedding next month - here are just a few of my faves from the day...

They look amazing! My favorite is the grass photos and the staring into the sun set one. we had a great time doing it and I obviously warmed up to the camera more towards the end - just like you said.
