  • I have an unhealthy, but happy relationship with caffeine and ice cream.
  • I am a total insomniac and I get a ton of work done at 3 a.m.
  • I have the coolest 4 year-old on the planet.
  • Your photos are not about me or my 'art'.  I believe my job is to show your awesomeness.

I think it's important that you not only like your photographer's work, but that you actually like your photographer.

sneak peek ~ marrowstone vineyards ~ lauren & kern

another gorgeous summer day (yay!) and a really lovely wedding today at marrowstone vineyards in norland (near port townsend).  this is a quick moment i caught of lauren & kern while they were waiting for the band's next song.  i love my 200mm lens - they never knew they were having their photo taken.  huge congrats to lauren & kern!!

the 4th of july in seattle was an amazingly gorgeous day.  thea and ian are an amazingly beautiful couple...specifically, i found their genuine expression of affection for each other to be amazing.  they were total strangers to me and now i think of them as friends.  great day...
