Lacy - one awesome chick who was not going to let a little (well, a lot) of rain mess with their day or the sweet smile she had for Toby every time she looked at him...
Toby - easy going, fun guy who is crazy about Lacy and was up for all of my shenanigans...
We started our day out at Lacy's parents house where all of the ladies were getting ready to roll...
that photo above reminds me of a game of twister...
Dad's first look at Lacy was also Lacy's first look at the custom tuxedo that her dad had made for her sweet pup...
Toby's first look with Lacy was at a nearby historical home in Duvall...
The wedding party met up with us at Hidden Meadows and although it poured during the wedding party photo time, the awesome thing was that the skies were dry for all of their family photos!
As people arrived for the ceremony, they were greeted with hot cider...such a great idea!
I peeked in on Lacy and her dad waiting for their cue...
Amazing details and the BEST candy/sweet bar I've seen! There were candies, homemade cookies (including no-bakes which are my new obsession), even chex mix. I loved all the use of burlap and the lit mason jars hanging from the ceiling...

A sparkler exit and her dad's classic car for their getaway made a perfect ending for a really great day!!

Phil proposed on this stretch of beach at Alki by writing 'marry me' in the sand..so sweet...

There is something so sweet and intimate about a smaller wedding and The Sorrento Hotel is a great setting for such an event. I arrived in Kim's room just as she was getting dressed...
Annemarie Juhlian delivered such a wonderful ceremony for Kim & Ben...I am always so struck at how she must listen so carefully to what couples say...she always uses the right amount of humor and emotion for every situation...she's just wonderful at what she does!
Kim had the BEST 'oh my gosh, I'm married' face...
Ben's folks have such a great sense of humor - no brides or mother of the grooms were harmed in the goofiness and spontaneity of these photos...

I just shed a tear over how happy everyone was, how beautiful you are (you too Ben) and what a lovely setting it was. Nothing better than being surronded by people, you can clearly see love you both, on such a special day. Wish our traveling circus could have come.
