  • I have an unhealthy, but happy relationship with caffeine and ice cream.
  • I am a total insomniac and I get a ton of work done at 3 a.m.
  • I have the coolest 4 year-old on the planet.
  • Your photos are not about me or my 'art'.  I believe my job is to show your awesomeness.
  • There isn't one aspect of my job that I don't like.  I even feel weird calling it a 'job' sometimes.

I think it's important that you not only like your photographer's work, but that you actually like your photographer.

When I drove up to Carson's family property for their engagement session, I just about lost it...between the cool old cars, building facades, woods and then sun flare?!  Yeah, total yumminess...then add in Carson's super cute grin, Kathleen's big brown eyes and how sweet they are on each other...e-session goodness all around...

Ok, as mob I might be prejudice but these photos took my breath away. The love between Kathleen and Carson is so evident in these photos that it made me cry. A love like this is hard to find and we are so very happy for both of them. We love Carson and his family and we are looking forward to many wonderful times ahead.

Wedding Photography ~ Golden Gardens Bathhouse ~ Andrea & Colin

The fourth of July has BBQ, red checkered tablecloths and good friends right?!  Well this year had all of the above plus some 'fireworks' between Andrea & Colin at their beach wedding down at Golden Gardens Bathhouse.  They created a celebration that was truly 'them'...who needs a bouquet when you have homemade pinwheels?  No 'first look' for these two...they got ready together - every aspect was authentically theirs and totally fun for all!

The always fabulous Annemarie Juhlian created a ceremony parade out to the lawn under the trees for their sweet ceremony.  The funniest moment was when Colin's cell phone beeped and Andrea reminded everyone to 'please silence your phones' - total crack up...

Wedding Photography ~ Fort Lewis, Tacoma ~ Joelle & Brian

Butterflies were literally in the air for Joelle & Brian's lovely wedding day.  I started the day at Hotel Murano where everyone was getting ready.  Flower girl Mackie gave me some super cuteness while she got her hair done.

Brian definitely had one of the BEST reactions when he saw Joelle for the first time...

We all headed to the American Lake Community Center at Fort Lewis to their ceremony site.  The reception hall was filled with family memories and butterflies...cupcakes and a homemade cookie bar along with gerbera daises were lovely touches...

The ring bearer totally cracked me up when during one of the ceremony's prayers he got in the lotus position...

There was great sun flare above the Chuppah for their ceremony and Brian surprised Joelle by handing out live butterflies to release after their first kiss and the breaking of the glass.
