sarah and austin are so soft and sweet with each other. i love seeing kindness between people - it really is lovely. i met these two awesome folks at hannah & ed's great wedding last summer and was so excited to hear they wanted me to photograph their wedding. they wanted to have a fun day full of their favorite portland places...starting at their house with their sweet puppies making sure we were on time...
pretty cute pups right? we met austin on the hawthorne bridge for their first look and then started our walk around the city...
i don't know what she said, but i suggested that she whisper something dirty to him...
i love the look on austin's face here - such a genuine embrace...
and then we were off to voodoo!
the 30 minute wait in line allowed for some detail shots...the sand dollar is in memory of sarah's grandma...
the hand fasting vows were beautiful...
the laurelwood pub was great! mandolin music, board games, beer and m&ms? big fun!

Such a fun wedding with a fun couple. I LOVE that you guys went to Voodoo Doughnut. Playing pictionary at the reception with Sarah, so much fun! Jenny, you did an amazing job of capturing their sweetness with each other.
