  • I have an unhealthy, but happy relationship with caffeine and ice cream.
  • I am a total insomniac and I get a ton of work done at 3 a.m.
  • I have the coolest 4 year-old on the planet.
  • Your photos are not about me or my 'art'.  I believe my job is to show your awesomeness.
  • There isn't one aspect of my job that I don't like.  I even feel weird calling it a 'job' sometimes.

I think it's important that you not only like your photographer's work, but that you actually like your photographer.

Last Saturday happened to be the prettiest day we've had in a couple weeks and was perfect weather to hang out at the UW with Joelle and Brian and their sweet puppy.  Joelle is one of those people that I knew I'd totally be instant friends with after our phone conversation - she has a great sense of humor and made of awesome.  Brian has such a refreshing gentleness about him and check him out in his military uniform...holy moly hawtness!

Engagement Photography ~ Belltown ~ Hannah & Ed

Hannah & Ed came up from Portland last weekend for their engagement session and for a fun 'over-nighter' at the hip Ace Hotel in Belltown.  The rain kindly stayed away for our stroll - I just can't tell you how Hannah's vintage flair rocks my world.  I pretty much LOVE this couple and cannot wait to head south for their big day!

Jenny, you rocked our socks off! This is my favorite wedding moment so far. I usually shy away from the camera, but after this I just might get addicted to having my photo taken. Working with you was such an awesome experience and I can't wait to do it again. And hopefully there won't be anymore Hummer limos in the way :)

i see choice ~ Kathy Najimy at NARAL's Power of Choice Luncheon

Lauren, the Executive Director of Washington's chapter of NARAL asked me months ago if I would photograph their annual Power of Choice Luncheon at the Seattle Sheraton.  How excited was I though when a couple weeks before the event, she let me know the Kathy Najimy would be the keynote speaker!?!  I am a huge and longtime fan of Ms. Najimy and shamelessly gushed at her upon meeting her (I'm such a goon).  She was so gracious though and let me tell her my 'how you affected my youth' story...

Anyway...Govenor Gregoire, Lauren and Kathy all gave great speeches and I was honored to take the photos...here are just a few...
